Bloomberg Television· 2026-02-03 17:35
It was certainly the longest month ever. I feel like it was like a thousand days long and it feels like it's potentially going to stretch into the into February, as you say, with with the shutdown. Hopefully, it's not going to last. But, you know, it's like deja vu all over again with when you know, when I saw the headlines yesterday that the jobs report is going to be postponed and the JOLTS data this morning is going to be just postponed again. So here we go again. Again, hopefully it won't last very long. ...
Indonesia FM Blasts Citi, Defends MSCI Downgrade
Bloomberg Television· 2026-02-03 17:16
I think the most recent development is. The MSCI. Threatening or saying that Indonesia is at risk of being downgraded. What went wrong there. As I told you that in transparency in the market, this was quite big. I've told even I've told myself to the uh, stock market management at several months ago to clarify the market from this cooking practice of manipulating prices of shares. But they didn't do anything. So to me, MSCI warning is a good thing because we, I can write them to clear the market practice. Tho ...

Bloomberg Television· 2026-02-03 15:36
What's Musk trying to achieve with this deal. Or certainly he's kind of mentioned that the you know, the grand plan in some ways is to have these orbital data centers. They're taking the whole data center in literally into space. So that's kind of the grand vision with this particular combination. We're still expecting SpaceX to have an IPO later this year. And some reports have suggested perhaps for a .5 trillion. There is another part to this, I think, as well, which is that actually when we look at numbers ...
Palantir Sees Stronger-Than-Expected Sales Outlook, SpaceX-xAI Merger Confirmed
Bloomberg Television· 2026-02-03 15:34
Yeah, they exceeded very high expectations. Their growth accelerated from more than 60% to more than 70%. There's no other software company even close. If you look at software companies two through ten. They're happy to grow somewhere between 20 and 30% and they're usually decelerating. So what Palantir's doing is remarkable. We're running out of superlatives. It's remarkable and it exceeds very high expectations that came in, which is what is implied by the valuation. That's why the valuation is so high on c ...

Disney CEO Bob Iger Steps Down, Josh D'Amaro Takes Over
Bloomberg Television· 2026-02-03 14:21
It's been a long saga here. You know, starting maybe more than ten years ago when we started talking about succession for Bob Iger. And they had a nice plan set up, a very clear plan. They had two leading candidates, both well-regarded by Wall Street. Either one would have been acceptable and just want this time for Bob Iger to make a choice. He's decided, no, I'm going to stay here. And so both of those executives eventually left the company. And then we started all over again. And in years later, another su ...
Inside the US-India Trade Deal
Bloomberg Television· 2026-02-03 14:20
This was something that was one big stumbling block, the sentiment in the capital market and also for the Indian rupee, as you pointed out. So I'm not surprised that the reaction is very positive in both these markets. And I mean, at the end of the day, it is the world's biggest consumption market, $21 trillion of GDP.And therefore, to be able to have access to it is important and for all labour intensive products and to I think the China plus one strategy that many Western companies and multinationals were ...
