There is a huge data shortage gap for the Robotics Foundation model development. It's very different than large language model where there is enough data for the pre-training. For robotics, there are not enough robots in the real world, fully deployed, collecting data every day.So we have to have robots in simulation teleoperated by human beings to generate enough data to train robotics foundation models.
