Group 1 - The Haikou Shipping Industry and Data Annotation Industry Education Joint Ventures were recently established to align with regional industrial development directions [1] - The Haikou Shipping Industry Joint Venture is led by Hainan University of Science and Technology and Beishihua Yang Shipping Service (Hainan) Co., focusing on supporting the operation of the Hainan Free Trade Port and integrating resources from 4 schools, 1 research institution, and over 10 shipping companies [1] - The joint venture currently has over 54,000 enrolled students, equipped with 60 specialized training rooms, 4 co-built training bases, and 1 industry academy to ensure deep integration of educational resources with shipping industry needs [1] Group 2 - The Haikou Data Annotation Industry Joint Venture is formed by Hainan University of Science and Technology in collaboration with over 30 enterprises and institutions, aiming to cultivate local digital talent [1] - The joint venture has successfully conducted 2 batches of talent training and internship programs, covering 400 students, and has developed training for 12 annotation-related businesses including Alibaba and iFlytek [1] - This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to the development of Hainan's digital economy by preparing a skilled workforce [1]
