Group 1 - The construction of the Mianshan Tunnel, a key project of the Jiaoluo-Ping High-Speed Railway, has successfully completed the shield starting well's diaphragm wall construction, marking the acceleration of the world's largest diameter earth pressure balance shield tunnel construction [1] - The Mianshan Tunnel, the longest section of the Jiaoluo-Ping High-Speed Railway at 6340 meters, is being constructed using a shield method, setting a world record for the excavation cross-section size of earth pressure balance shield tunnels [1] - The project team has innovatively adopted a composite cyclic slotting scheme to address challenges posed by complex geological conditions, ensuring safety and quality while effectively advancing construction progress [1] Group 2 - The Jiaoluo-Ping High-Speed Railway spans 230 kilometers with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, forming an important part of China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network [2] - Upon completion, the railway will enhance the hub function of the Hunan-Guangdong corridor, enabling a one-hour travel time between Jiaozuo and Pingdingshan, which will promote regional industrial collaboration and resource sharing [2]
