Uber and Rivian are partnering to deploy up to 50,000 fully autonomous robo taxis. The ride hailing company or its fleet partners plan to purchase 10,000 R2s Rivian robo taxis. That's with the option to purchase 40,000 more in 2030.As part of the partnership, Uber will invest up to one and a quarter billion dollars in Riven through 2031.
