The sights, sounds, and hands-on experience of using Lenovo's rollable ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 laptop.
The Verge· 2025-08-04 13:32
I viewed a laptop that grows and shrinks at the push of a button. It's one of the coolest laptops I've ever used. Here's what I like about it and don't.Push a button and the squareish 14-in display turns into a 16.7% in tall boy. It's a 120 Hz flexible OLED display with punchy colors and crisp details. But you pay a big price for this screen. The ThinkBook Plus costs $3,300 where a non-rolling Lenovo with a similar specs is like $1,000 cheaper. It's awesome for multitasking, allowing you to work within two s ...

The Verge· 2025-07-31 14:01
This tiny Game Boy plays Doom for real. There's a Tiny Game Boy Advance, too. Today, I'm toying with the Thumby and Thumpy Color from the makers of the Tiny TV.They don't play Nintendo games, unless you count knockoff Zelda, but there's Tetris and Connect 4 and Mind Sweeper and Doom and Flappy Bird and Bustamov. There's Solitaire in 2048 and whatever else you want to code and upload right in a browser window. Both thumbies have Raspberry Pi Pico processors inside, but the color is more powerful with an RP23 ...

It's also compatible with 49mm lens filters. But I should really just show you what the quality looks like. So, here's that. There's a lot of noise like any webcam, but you can turn on noise reduction. That looks a little smoother. If you're just using this for Zoom, like don't bother. Here's what my Logitech 1080p ...

Finally you can stop licking batteries and just eat tortilla chips instead.
The Verge· 2025-07-25 14:00
Have you ever been tempted to lick a battery. Ah, well, there's no need. You can just buy these 9V batteryflavored tortilla chips instead. These are from a new brand called Rewind, who are trying to break into Europe right now, and they do have some normal flavors like cheese and onion and Sriracha and paprika, but I'm obviously only here for the batteries. It's been a while since I last licked a battery, so I have regrettably brought my own for the direct comparison. Let's first up see how that tastes.Ah, t ...

The Verge· 2025-07-24 14:00

Most Fuji cameras give you very similar results, and your choice might come down to just the form factor. The good news is that the latest camera from Fujifilm, the X-E5, is packed with top features in a form factor that has won me over. Despite the steep price hike. #Camera #Travel #Photography 0:00 My favorite X-E5 feature is… 0:28 X-E5 overview 0:57 Fujifilm lineup ...
