普氏野马有着6000万年进化史,是我国的国家一级保护动物、全球濒危的大型野生动物。曾因盗猎与环境变化,在我国一度接近野外灭绝。1985年,我国启 动"野马返乡计划",从国外引回野马,在新疆、甘肃等地建立繁育基地,一步步为它们搭建"回家之路"。 今天(9月15日)上午,在甘肃濒危动物保护中心,一批普氏野马将被转运到甘肃敦煌西湖国家级自然保护区。 早上八点半,甘肃濒危动物保护中心的工作人员正在进行装车工作,整个装车的时间预计在1小时左右。按照计划,本次将转运4个种群,共28匹普氏野马, 从甘肃濒危动物保护中心转运到甘肃敦煌西湖国家级自然保护区,距离大概是1030公里,车程预计14~15个小时。 本次普氏野马转运有一个很特殊的地方,这是国内首次采用远距离散装转运,就是在转运过程中马匹将全程保持清醒状态,不再采用以往麻醉装箱的办法。 这样也是为了避免马匹因麻醉出现的意外情况。为了实现这一方式,这次转运也是克服了多个难点。 工作人员告诉记者,普氏野马的警觉性很高,对于人类的靠近很警惕,如何将马匹从马圈引入到转运车辆上,是一个难点。马圈里停放着转运车辆,车厢与 脚手架搭建起的通道连接在一起,通道尽头挖了一个土坑,转运车辆 ...
