Well, we are now tracking the first hurricane of the 2025 season. This is a satellite image of Aaron. It was upgraded from a tropical storm to a hurricane just last hour, packing wind speeds now of 75 m an hour.Aaron is expected to pass very close to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands as a possible category 3 storm, but so far the impacts of Aaron on the US, they're still a bit unclear, but there are already rip current warnings up and down the east coast.
