Proactive Investors· 2024-01-16 09:53
Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL, ETR:APC) has removed the blood oxygen monitoring feature on its latest range of smartwatches to avoid a US import ban. The US International Trade Commission (ITC) placed the ban on the Apple products towards the end of 2023 after Masimo, the medical technology company, claimed the watche ...

Proactive Investors· 2024-01-15 16:28
In the seven years since its launch, Nintendo has not once cut the price of its rabidly popular Switch gaming console. Nor should it: the Switch has sold over 132 million units, making it the Japanese gaming giant’s second-best-selling device behind the Nintendo DS. Killer apps like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Bros Wonder and Metroid Prime Remastered ensured Switch sales kept ticking along well into 2023. If not cutting prices is a surefire sign of a product’s enduring popularity, ...

Bitcoin (BTC) suffered further selling pressure after the long-awaited approval in the US of spot-bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) led to a ‘sell-the-news’ situation for the world’s largest cryptocurrency. Following a surprising high-single-digit dip on Friday, a day after the likes of BlackRock Inc (NYSE:BLK), Grayscale and Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest secured permission to list the bitcoin-tracking ETFs on the stock market, the BTC/USD pair traded flat on Saturday before running 2.6% lower on Sunday. Bitc ...
