This initiative has led to the establishment of the "Digital Dunhuang" resource library, which has attracted over 23 million visits from 78 countries [5][6]. - As of now, the Dunhuang Academy has completed the digital collection of 300 caves, processed data for 200 caves, and reconstructed 45 sculptures and 16 major sites in 3D, with a total data volume exceeding 500TB [5]. Group 2: Integration of Traditional and Modern Design - Dunhuang's artistic elements, such as patterns and motifs from its murals, are being integrated into contemporary fashion and design. This includes the creation of silk scarves that reflect traditional designs while appealing to modern aesthetics [7][8]. - The Dunhuang Costume Culture Research and Innovation Design Center is actively applying Dunhuang elements to various products, including school uniforms and digital designs, aiming to make traditional culture more relatable and accessible to contemporary audiences [8]. Group 3: Cultural Relevance and Modern Expression - The cultural elements of Dunhuang are increasingly being incorporated into daily life through illustrations, cultural products, and performances, creating a bridge between historical and modern contexts [9][16]. - The success of various cultural projects, such as immersive theater and music dramas inspired by Dunhuang, highlights the harmonious coexistence of cultural heritage and modern civilization, receiving high praise from international organizations [16][17].
