三位宿儒笔下的万盛山水

□重庆晨报特约撰稿 简云斌 万盛历史悠久、山水神奇,有"千年溱州""抗战煤都"之誉,但由于种种原因,前人留下的文字不多,特 别是文学作品寥寥无几,令人遗憾。 但庆幸的是,历史上有三位地方宿儒、县志主纂,为万盛留下了宝贵的文章,分别是:道光版《綦江县 志》主纂罗星写的《桃源桥叙》,民国版《南川县志》主纂韦圣祥写的《海空洞记》,民国版《桐梓县 志》主纂犹海龙写的《磨子洞记》。三篇文章皆堪称佳作,值得反复品读。 一 罗星与《桃源桥叙》 罗星(1777年~1858年),字稼崖,号春堂,綦江永里黄沙坎(今綦江区永城镇黄沙村)人,为清嘉 庆、道光年间邑中名儒。 罗星出身于书香世家,13岁时熟读四书五经,16岁时从读瀛山书院,20岁入县庠为生员;24岁赴省城乡 试后,肄业于成都锦江书院;27岁开始设馆教书,从学者众。罗星才华横溢,可惜科场不利。31岁再次 参加乡试时,因妻病重,发挥失常。妻子去世后,罗星写悼亡诗30首,无意科举。直到44岁时,他才又 一次参加乡试,中第九名举人,轰动綦城。次年,赴京会试,未中,从此淡泊名利,闭门教书育人、著 书立说。綦江进士伍辅祥、伍浚祥、举人吴泽棠等,皆受业其门下。 罗星著作甚丰。清道光五 ...
