RT DoctorDeFi (@DoctorDeFi)Why does the $FT chart look stable even though tradable FT does not come with downside protection?Because @flyingtulip_ changes the exit mechanics.Raise participants are not forced to use the secondary market to get out, which removes a major source of sell pressure. 🧵 https://t.co/3dsiCJND06 ...

RT Newton (🌷,🌷) (@flyingNewton)JUNE 2028.You can still withdraw your FT, you can still exit your Perpetual PUT, and you can still hold. These options are permanent, NO DEADLINE: https://t.co/fnMsy5r4Y4Withdrawal means you invalidate the PUT and remove downside protection. This ONLY makes sense if the price of $FT on the open market is HIGHER than what you would get by EXITING your position, or selling your PUT on the MARKETPLACE: https://t.co/22bZuxOimjBE SMART: Initially, there should be almost 0 available t ...

RT Edgy - The DeFi Edge 🗡️ (@thedefiedge)Goldman didn’t just go long AI. They built a hedged structure around it.If they’re compute, infra, or cybersecurity = Long• If they’re simple workflow apps = Short• Flying Tulip is doing the same thing with a token sale. You contribute an asset (USDC, ETH, etc.) and mint $FT at a fixed $0.10 ($1 = 10 FT).But your capital isn’t being spent. It stays as backing capital tied to a Perpetual PUT position, while the protocol earns yield on it.What happens next is up to you:1 ...

RT Newton (🌷,🌷) (@flyingNewton)New $FT enters circulation only if capital is actually allocated. No PUT can exist without its backing capital. That is what allows holders to always have the option to exit with the asset and amount originally contributed to create the PUT. ...

Really only 2 outcomes for participating in FT;1. You take your original investment back (or any portion thereof)2. FT performs well, profit. And if it just outperforms stablecoin yield (~2-3%), its profit.Realistically, considering stablecoins, you could either deposit into lending and earn ~3%, that means FT via all its buybacks just needs to go up 3.1% to outperform stablecoin yield and you have profit.Always liquid, available anytime. The model works. Even in these markets (and consider private only par ...
