Market Sentiment & Trends - A poll on X showed a near 50/50 split on whether the stock market is in a bubble, with 48.8% believing it is and 51.2% disagreeing [2] - Bull markets don't necessarily end due to age, with historical data showing that bull markets lasting four years typically extend to at least five years, averaging eight years [3] - Historically, when the market is up at least 10% for the year heading into November, November has been higher the last 14 times [6] - When the market is up 15% for the year going into November, the last two months have been higher 20 out of 21 times [6] - In years where the market experienced a significant downturn (down 15%) and then recovered to finish the year up 10%, the following year saw double-digit growth, averaging 19% [7][9] - Despite concerns and negativity, there's excitement and opportunity in the market [9] Investment Strategy & Global Markets - While some believe there's a bubble in areas like AI, opportunities exist in other sectors [11] - Many global stock markets are hitting 52-week highs, indicating a global bull market [11][12] - The company is overweight equities with increased international exposure compared to the last couple of years [13] - In a 60/40 portfolio, approximately 71% is allocated to equities, with around 19% in developed international markets [14]
