Cramer: There's a mad dash to make money anywhere in the market right now
CNBC Television· 2025-08-13 23:47
This market isn't unprecedented, but I honestly haven't seen anything like it since back in the 80s and 90s. In those days, money roved Wall Street like a gang of thugs, beating up, taking over sectors, relentlessly searching for big game, always on the lookout for the next getrich thing. And that's where we are right now at this moment with the Dow gaining another 464 points today.S&B climbing.32%. The NASDAQ just advancing.14%. NASDAQ has too much data center which was weaker today.Bear with me on that. R ...

CNBC Television· 2025-08-12 02:26
Let's continue the conversation on fund flows, Nate. ETFs still on pace for yet another record year following big July of inflows. >> Yeah, so over 700 billion dollars has flowed into ETFs overall this year, including around 120 billion in July, which was the highest monthly total this year. And so right now, we're on pace for somewhere in the neighborhood of say 1.2% 2 to$ 1.3% trillion in inflows which would break last year's record of 1.1% trillion and it's worth mentioning that historically if you look t ...

Strongly disagree.(1) The actual reform would be to make IPOs easier, by essentially eliminating Sarbox. And we'll actually get that reform... but only via crypto, because all companies will become cryptoequities. However, that means they'll list on Internet capital markets and crypto exchanges, rather than NYSE/NASDAQ.(2) See how the number of US public companies has crashed since the early 2000s? Then, ten years later, the number of Internet coins started soaring. The big picture is that we're just sunset ...

Contrarian take but I dont think American IPOs are structurally that underpriced. Book-building is a competitive process and clients can choose any number of investment banks. The risk transfer of a huge amount of shares for cash is a risk-aversion and diversification moment for early shareholders. There would need to be a risk transfer discount for any trade to occur anyway. For many concept stocks, a good looking chart is the best marketing. Many of these stocks if they had gone down from day 1, would then ...
