中化新网讯 近日,埃克森宣布研发出一种新型合成石墨,可将电动汽车电池寿命延长高达30%。埃克 森美孚CEO达伦·伍兹称其为"电池性能的革命性飞跃"。他还透露,多家电动车制造商正在测试该技 术。 此前数日,埃克森宣布收购合成石墨制造商Superior Graphite,以支持公司进军电池阳极石墨市场。合 成石墨不仅用于电动汽车电池,还应用于储能系统。相较于开采的天然石墨,合成石墨生产流程更可 控,成本更低且质量更稳定,能实现更快、更智能的规模化生产,同时提供优于当前市场的石墨产品。 此次收购与技术突破紧随埃克森2023年进军锂矿开采的决策。尽管美国本土电动车销售遇冷,埃克森公 司两年前已宣布计划在阿肯色州生产锂资源,目标到2030年成为领先的电动汽车电池供应商。埃克森计 划2027年实现首批锂量产,并评估全球扩张机会,预计到2030年其锂产量可满足每年超百万辆电动车的 制造需求。通过近期布局,埃克森业务已覆盖电动车电池供应链的多数环节。 ...
