(来源:劳动午报) 转自:劳动午报 明清时期京城有多处马匹饲养之地,形成街巷后,多以马圈、马厂而称。 《北京市东城区地名志》载:马圈胡同位于故宫东侧,北起银闸胡同,南止骑河楼街,长269米。明清 时御用马厩设于皇城内,所饲养马匹为皇帝出行驾乘及仪仗之用。因清乾隆时此地有御马监之马厩,故 称马圈胡同,民国后沿称。1965年将小椿树胡同并入,改称骑河楼北巷。 马圈位于东城区鼓楼东大街南侧,北端曲折,西起地安门外大街,南止方砖厂胡同,长500米,形成于 元代,明属靖恭坊,清属正黄旗。因设有饲养马匹的马圈,清宣统年间称马圈,1949年后沿称。1965年 整顿地名时将辛寺胡同部分并入后改称辛安里。这里的98号院为赵登禹将军故居,其任第29军132师师 长,驻防北平南苑时,其母及家眷曾居于此,今尚有遗迹可寻。 据《北京市西城区地名志》载:马厂胡同位于西城区东北部,旧鼓楼大街西侧,形成于明代,属日忠 坊,因有马匹饲养之所得名。清代属正黄旗地界,并析为南北两条胡同,依所处方位,南侧称前马厂, 北侧称后马厂。其中前马厂呈"厂"字形,东起旧鼓楼大街,西段南折至鼓楼西大街,其中与后马厂胡同 相交。1965年将果子观并入,定名前马厂 ...
