9月20日,第七届"科学探索奖"颁奖典礼在深圳举行,50位获奖科学家如明星一般走过红毯,走上领奖 台,与家人一起享受聚光灯下的荣耀,也带来了自己探索人类"大问题"的科学梦想。 资料显示, 这项由腾讯出资、新基石科学基金会运营、科学家主导人才遴选的公益奖项,由杨振宁、 饶毅、施一公等十几位知名科学家与腾讯公司创始人马化腾共同发起,是目前国内金额最高的青年科技 人才资助项目之一。 每位获奖人将连续5年获得总计300万元奖金。不止于此,科学探索奖持续运营, 目标是支持中国顶尖的青年科学家,在他们最具爆发力的年纪,去挑战,去探索,攀登科学的珠穆朗玛 峰。 在颁奖典礼上,中国科学院院士、深圳医学科学院创始院长、深圳湾实验室主任、"科学探索奖"管理委 员会委员颜宁就透露,曾经在微信上向马化腾提出"您怎么看生命?"这样的灵魂拷问,与此同时还向马 化腾提出了关于生命的建议。"我还给他(马化腾)提过一个建议,就是咱们腾讯其实有非常重要的一 块是电竞,我曾经想他能不能发动全球的玩家,从最简单的分子,然后在一个系统里面能够虚拟模拟出 生命。" 据介绍, "鼓励原创" 是新基石科学基金会资助的定位,鼓励原创贯穿在"科学探索奖"每一轮 ...
