【讲述人/余舟、凌杰 对话/观察者网 郑乐欢】 今年是马年,作为接触马术已经十年的"养马人",想和大家聊一聊"养马"这件事。 马在人类文明历史中的"转型" 虽然近二十年来,随着国内经济发展与教育观念的逐渐开放,马术教育确实在稳步推广。但客观地说, 它至今仍是一项比较小众的爱好。 现在除了新疆、内蒙古、西藏等传统地区还保有悠久的骑马文化,马这种动物在大多数现代人的生活 中,几乎已经退出了日常视野。对于普通人而言,基本没有饲养条件;作为肉用,除中亚等少数地区 外,也并非主流饮食选择。这使得普通人对马的认知,大多停留在影视作品或模糊的印象中,也因此产 生了不少误解。 不过在古代,马可跟普通的家畜不同,而是一种重要的战略资源,其重要性是其他动物无可替代的。一 是作为骑兵的坐骑,其速度、冲击力和机动性成为战场胜负的关键因素。二是作为跨区域商品的运输载 体,马是古代最快的陆地交通工具。三,几乎所有古代文明中,拥有马匹都是贵族、骑士阶层的特权, 是社会等级的显性标志。 过去,骑兵在战争中拥有不可替代的重要性。 马在现代社会的"退场",并非因为其本身价值的消失,而是因为一场深刻的"动力革命"。其功能被更高 效、更廉价、更标准 ...
