日常生活中,人们对破伤风存在诸多认识误区。对此,科技日报记者采访相关专家正本清源,介绍 科学防护方法。 误区一:由生锈物品造成的伤口才会引发破伤风 很多人认为,只有带铁锈的物品造成的伤口才会引发破伤风,但事实并非如此。 中国疾控中心研究员郑徽告诉记者,在日常生活中,穿刺伤、烧烫伤、挤压伤,以及动物致伤,都是常 见的感染途径。 "由于可导致破伤风的破伤风梭状芽孢杆菌在自然界中广泛分布,因此只要皮肤或黏膜存在破口,破伤 风梭状芽孢杆菌就有机会进入到体内,在缺氧环境下大量繁殖就会引发破伤风。"中国人民解放军北部 战区总医院急诊医学科主任医师金红旭指出,有皮肤或黏膜外伤或破损史的病人;皮肤、黏膜或软组织 存在细菌感染史的病人;有消化道破损病史的病人,都可能患上破伤风。破伤风存在潜伏期,感染破伤 风芽孢杆菌未必立即发病,但芽孢可潜伏数月。一旦发病则极为凶险,重症患者会出现喉痉挛、窒息、 肺部感染及器官功能衰竭,属于致命性极高的危重疾病。 金红旭强调,一些病例没有明确损伤或明显伤口,但如果被其他细菌感染,也可能造成厌氧环境,从而 促使破伤风杆菌芽孢发芽滋长并产生外毒素,形成隐源性破伤风。 误区二:受伤24小时后注射破伤风 ...
